The Limbo chair was developed from the simple brief: to create a comfortable modern lounge chair.
Made with Heller's unique rotational molding methods, the Limbo chair conceals comfortable ergonomics inside a free-flowing form that appears unlike any typical chair.

The Limbo archetype challenges traditional chair structures with a three-legged base that morphs into the seat and back rest.

Ergonomics were developed by refinement and modeling in CAD then rapid prototyping both at scale and in full scale.
The result allows comfort to be concealed inside the sweeping form rather than allowing the form of the chair to be dominated by it.

The chair is reinforced with ribbed features underneath each leg, known in the rotational molding world as "kiss-offs".
Whereas "kiss-offs" would typically be utilized to visibly strengthen large industrial parts we've hidden them beneath each leg to prevent shearing.
