The Night + Day carafe is one of many products designed and developed for Our Place with the Atlason Studio team.
The carafe was designed to embody the brand's unique point-of-view on multi-functionality, modern kitchen tools and design complimentary to a social media enviroment.
It features a glass body with add-on components which transform it's functionality and extend it's usefulness to a wide range of beverage-based rituals.

The carafe was designed to compliment a pre-existing Our Place drinking glass both in form and functionality (by accommodating stacking).
Using soda lime glass; the material gathers at the base, forming a rich color gradient from top to bottom.
The carafe was designed to compliment the drinking glass in form.
The neck was tapered to accommodate stacking to make hosting and serving easier.
Rather than looking at the carafe and add ons as a kit of many parts which may be lost, go unused and be a sourcing challenge; I treated the add ons as a single product that embodied the Our Place product ethos.
By covering a wide variety of cold-beverage use cases with a minimum of parts, I aimed to offer people a truly delightful object that is as beautiful as it is useful.
We designed a 360° pouring lid to both facilitate a smoother pouring experience and to keep beverages fresh in the refrigerator.
The pouring lid has a removable cap for easy cleaning.
Stainless steel infuser snaps right onto lid for iced coffee, tea, or even infused spirits. Double wall construction makes it ideal for overnight cold brew with minimal leakage of coffee grounds
We developed an aerator to compliment the diffuser, extending the use of the add ons from morning ritual-based beverages to evening ones. The aerator is created from spun stainless steel, with a punched drop-in filter that can be removed for cleaning.
Stainless steel doesn’t retain odor, so your favorite bottle of red (or skin contact) wine will be enhanced without any lingering smells. Perforations filter sediment as fine as 0.6 mm
